Every player comes to Kings with their own personality and approach to the game, but every player who succeeds possesses solid fundamentals. Each drill in practice will be focused on helping players develop the correct habits and skills in order for them to experience success come game time.

While everyone enjoys winning, it is most important that we, as Kings, approach every practice, game, and team function with the highest level of class and sportsmanship. The coaching staff will model and  teach players how to conduct themselves both on the field and within the community.

Understanding the game at its finest details requires a lifetime dedication to sport. Kings coaches will teach players elements of the game and strategies to help them succeed. For example, players will learn how to make sound decisions on the field, how to mentally prepare for a game, etc. Players must be passionate about the mental aspect of the game in order to fully grow and reach their potential.

A team is only successful when each member puts the needs of the team first. This is a crucial concept that will be preached and demonstrated at each and every team function. 

High-level players are those that maintain good physical condition. Kings coaches incorporate age-specific fitness training, as well as baseball-specific stretch routines, into our practices. As players develop, an increased amount of speed and agility training will be incorporated. 

We hold our players and coaches to a strict code of conduct to not only develop players on the field, but members of our local communities. We believe that by adhering to those guidelines found in our Coach, Parent, Player Agreement form will provide your player with the best environment available for competitive sports while instilling life-long traits to assist that player to succeed in every aspect of their future endeavors. In addition, players will also commit to the following as a member of Kings Baseball:

• Spend time every day practicing baseball
• Always give your best efforts
• Always show respect to coaches, parents and other players
• Come to the practice facility and ball field ready-to-play
• Always be alert on the field, at bat and in the dugout
• Always run to fielding positions, to dugout and first base
• Never criticize a teammate
• Never argue with coaches
• Never argue with an umpire's call
• Never harass players from other teams
• Represent the Kings Baseball Club well in your school and community​
